I am delighted to be the Guest Designer today for The Technique Junkie Stamps 30 Days of Christmas!
I have three cards to share with you today. The stamps I used can be found on the Christmas Stamps page of the Technique Junkies website.
This first card uses the S596 Whimsical Winter stamp from Technique Junkies, in dark green ink on a patterned paper background. I added some interest to the background as well with a date stamp, creating a patchwork of the date, 'Dec 25 2014', rotating the stamp and placing it end-to-end all over the upper 2/3rds of the card.
A decorative brad tops one of the trees. A cardstock stamp sticker, ribbon and a small poinsettia flower, leaves and gem from Prima complete the card.
For this pretty card, I used S471 Christmas Dove stamp from Technique Junkies, with the 'Gelato Smoosh' technique from the Artistic Effects CD. There are lots of great techniques using the Faber Castell Gelatos on that CD! I used them for the stamping, the background paper and even to apply a little color to my snowflake button embellishment.
This last card uses two stamps from the Christmas collection.
First, I stamped the S401 Jingle Bells stamp from Technique Junkies onto a die-cut reindeer and smudged a little ink around the edges to make it stand out.
Then I stamped the S596 Whimsical Winter stamp from Technique Junkies, in dark green ink on a textured patterned paper background with a subtle snowflake print. I love how it looks like fabric.
A cardstock sticker and pearl decorative brad embellishments finish off the card.
Remember Technique Junkies has a special going on right now -- a 15% discount on the entire Technique Junkies stamp site until December 10th! Use code Xmas15. There are many, many great stamps!
